Membership

walk in, step up

We keep it simple: If you bring energy, ideas, and discipline, you’ll find your place here.

We don’t do applications, interviews, or info sessions. If you want in, show up. Attend three meetings, contribute to discussion, and make it clear you’re serious about the work — that’s it. No one’s going to hand you a title. You earn your place by engaging, pitching, critiquing, and showing respect for the standard we’re building.

BGC is flat. That means every member is expected to speak, to think critically, and to add value. If you’re looking for a passive learning experience, this probably isn’t the right group. But if you want to get sharper alongside other people who care about markets, analysis, and being held accountable — you’ll fit right in.

Everyone in the room is here for a reason. Not because they got picked, but because they consistently put something on the table. That’s how we protect the tone of this group. That’s how we make sure what we’re building stays real.

What we expect

Attendance and participation are expected from all of us. This involves attending our meetings consistently, providing constructive criticism without any fillers, and pitching at least one idea per term. Passive participation will not be tolerated among our members. It is up to all of us to help hone our group by way of constructive conversations, constructive criticism, or even individually. It is a matter of seriousness but at the same time a collaborative effort.
